I am looking for a condensing gasboiler 28kw, with dimensions smaller than 450mmx780mmx345mm do you stock and supply. I would be grateful if you could give me any information that you have.

British Gas have one boiler that is capable of being fitted into the dimensions you quote and cope with the required heat output:

It is a British Gas BG 330 HE boiler - 600mm height, 375mm width and 334mm depth. This is a 30kw regular condensing boiler.

Could you please quote me a price for the boiler you give me the information on, I require just the price of the boiler, not the fitting service thank you.

Thank you for your enquiry concerning the purchase of a British Gas BG 330 HE boiler

British Gas do not quote for the supply of a boiler only, they supply and install their own products.

To provide you with a no-obligation quote a Heating Sales Adviser is able to visit to assess your requirements. An advantage of this free service is that you will get expert advice on the right boiler for your requirements and they can provide you with a free energy efficiency assessment at the same time.

Hi i have a 4 bedroom detached house with 2 bathrooms 1 with a power shower with hot&cold feed on a gravity feed system. I would like to put a new system in which will heat my house save me money and give a good flow of hot water so that when someone is in the shower and a tap or washing machine gets switched on the water pressure doesn’t change. I would like to put it in my loft. I would be very grateful if you could give me some ideas that would be right for me thanks

Whilst you have given a clear and detailed requirement there are several other factors to be taken into account before an accurate quotation can be provided to you.

The power rating of the boiler must be matched to the size of your home and radiators, and any future expansion plans you have. If the energy output is too low your home will be cold in the winter, if it is too large the boiler will be inefficient wasting energy and increase your annual heating bills.

This will be one of the largest investments in your home and you want to get it right as you will have this boiler for up to 15 years. Getting a quick quote on-line is easy but will it be accurate, a home survey is necessary to prepare an accurate quote you can trust.

We suggest you take advantage of a free, no-obligation quote from one of our trained Heating Advisors. They will ensure that the right boiler / system is selected for you providing an accurate quotation.

I have at present a Potterton Prima 60F conventional boiler about 12 years old. What capacity do I need to replace with a system condensing boiler.

  8. British Gas Boilers commented:

The Potterton Prima 60 boiler is a 60, 000 btu boiler or 18.5kw, so any new system boiler that matches this power output will be fine.
